Standards-Based Teaching & Learning

A pre-assessment will be conducted to determine the level of standards-based teaching and learning implementation at a school site. Training and coaching components will be customized to facilitate implemention of standards-based practices in curriculum alignment, course organizers and unit planning (backward design in practice), assessment planning (diagnostic, formative, summative), differentiation of instruction and strategies for developing student ownership/responsibility in the learning process.
