Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training

The goal of the “Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Program”-cpi, Crisis Prevention Institute, Inc., is to provide a safe, nonharmful behavior management system designed to help school employees and other human service providers match interventions to levels of crisis. The training emphasizes interventions that provide for the best possible care, welfare, safety and security of disruptive, assaultive and out-of-control individuals even during their most violent moments.

What We Offer/Performance Promises:

  • Eight to 12 hours of interactive learning focusing on prevention techniques, nonviolent physical crisis intervention and team intervention. (The most effective method of presentation is in a twelve-hour time frame spread over two six-hour days, but may be tailored to meet district needs.)
