	Immersion Presents Looking for new and exciting materials to use in your science curriculum? The Area Media Center has an innovative program for K-12 called Immersion Presents. Immersion Presents is a fun and powerful science education program for kids. Founder, famed oceanographer and explorer Dr. Robert Ballard has brought fun, engaging multimedia programs right to the classroom. Based on real research expeditions he has designed these programs in a way that helps students succeed in science, math and other academic disciplines. The Web site gives students the opportunities to learn about many careers in science and technology from real-life role models. View live broadcasts from the expedition site and access the Immersion Presents Library. View the many activity files (username & password: immersion2007) that can be printed off the ESC Web site and used in conjunction with the Immersion Presents Web site.
	The Area Media Center’s digital video collection is growing. Now there are more than 260 digital videos with more than 700 segments available to stream or download or use the traditional system and order the DVD and have it delivered. The newest titles added to the collection include: Inside the Living Cell and Visualizing Cell Processes, Copyright Law: Internet and Multimedia Education for Schools and Put the Brakes on Bullying.
	Something Old, Something New New educational resources are purchased throughout the year and added to the Media Center’s library collection. Below is a sampling of some the resources available, simply point and click to locate, reserve and schedule the multimedia educational resource needed.
