The
ESCFC Area Media Center is a member of the statewide area media
center network in Ohio which offers educational materials in formats
that support the local and state curriculum content for K-12 education.
The Media Center provides cost-effective services to districts allowing
optimal purchasing of educational materials for classroom use.
The
Media Center delivers educational/ curriculum based materials and
professional development titles in video, CD-ROM or digital format
to six local school districts. We currently have over 6,000 titles
in our library.
Delivery
to Dublin and New Albany Schools on Monday/Thursday, and Canal Winchester,
Gahanna, Hamilton, and Groveport Madison on Tuesday/Friday.
What
We Offer/Performance Promises:
- Van delivery
service to each school twice a week for delivery and pickup of
ordered materials.
- Access to
digital titles in partnership with Ohio Association of Instructional
Media Centers (OAIMC) and InfOhio.
- Provide on-site
professional development, instructional training, and support
for our online catalog and digital video streaming.
- Professional
Media Center personnel provide telephone, email, and onsite support
to district and building administrative/teaching staff.
- Opportunity
to purchase requested materials or borrow from 23 area media centers
of which we are part of a statewide sharing consortium.
- Periodic
newsletters to announce new media additions, technology offerings
and developments, media tips and technical news.

video (VHS), DVD,CD-ROM, digital video streaming, audio visual
equipment, educational kits and professional development material.
- Members receive
a substantial discount through the ESCFC Area Media Center for
a yearly subscription with Discovery Education providing over
4,000+ titles, 40,000+ video clips, and 2,900 images in language
arts, mathematics, science, and social studies for grades K-12.
