ESL Coordination Services
English
as a Second Language (ESL) Coordination Services provide leadership,
consultation and support for the design, implementation, evaluation
and coordination of district ESL programming. Services include direct
teacher support, professional development for administrators and
teachers and networking with local, state and national resources
and organizations.
What We Offer/Performance

- Meet with
district administrators to conduct a needs assessment and review
allocation of resources for ESL students.
- Assist in
the design, implementation and evaluation of district services
for ESL students.
- Maintain
a strong relationship with general education, standards-based
education and ESL initiatives.
- Develop/facilitate
district collaboration and professional development opportunities.
- Provide appropriate
resources supporting the needs of ESL learners.
- Provide assistance
with decision-making and development of policy/guidelines based
on legislation, research and best practices.
- Provide timely
responses and individualized services targeted for district administrators
and teachers.
