Franklin County Crossroads

The Crossroads Program assists high school students transitioning into careers and higher education. It provides both employability and life skills training for youth in grades 10-12. This program helps students experiencing at-risk conditions to acquire a high school diploma.

What We Offer/Performance Promises:

  • To provide students with life skills training in order to assist them with functioning successfully in school, at the home, and in the work setting
  • To promote career development skills in assisting students’ understanding of personal strengths and interests
  • To develop leadership skills so that students can serve as positive role models and lead others in a positive manner
  • Career attainment skills leading to quality employment for students in client district
  • Career survival skills leading to successful employment for targeted students
  • Technology skills leading to an understanding and utilization of various technologies for students
  • Diploma attainment for students so that high school graduation requirements are all met
  • Instruction by career managers to ensure student mastery of above skills
  • Oversight/management of work site by career managers
