Cross-Categorical Collaborative Learning Centers
for
students with severe behavioral and emotional disturbance
Special education
(ED) classrooms designed to support the unique needs of students
with significant emotional and behavioral challenges that impede
learning. Students are supported by a team of professionals, which
include a teacher, paraprofessional, transition specialist and a
mental health specialist, as deemed appropriate by the IEP team.
The program design provides a blend of educational and mental health
strategies and supports to ensure comprehensive curriculum to meet
the social, emotional and academic needs of each student. Supervision
is provided by the Educational Service Center of Franklin County
for staff and students participating in this program.
