About the Continued Learning Consortia

The Continued Learning Consortia is a cooperative of educational service centers, career and technical centers, and school districts that have come together to develop a committed group of public agencies interested in building, advancing and aligning a portfolio of college-going options.

The consortia includes city school districts, the educational service centers (formerly county boards of education) in Cuyahoga and Franklin counties, and several career centers (also known as joint vocational schools) in these counties with discussions with several additional career centers.

This is a partnership of experienced, credentialed and knowledgeable educators representing K-12, career and technical centers, adult education and workforce development. The members of the consortia have a significant interest in educational access, specifically in Cuyahoga County, and bring expertise from greater Cleveland and central Ohio, the fastest growing area of the state.

The consortia contains members experienced with maintaining accredited education programs and the delivery of financial aid through adult education services.

The members of the Continued Learning Consortia bring unencumbered cash reserves to ensure an ongoing financially stable partnership. Consortia members and planned partners also are experienced with operational and labor issues, bringing additional stability to any partner.

It is time to make a seamless educational system a reality and improve learning for Ohio students.
