Connections at
Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical
for students with severe behavioral and emotional disturbance


Connections is a special education resource room designed to support the unique needs of students with significant emotional and behavioral challenges at the Eastland Career and Technical School. Students are supported by a team of professionals, which include a teacher, paraprofessional, and a mental health specialist, as deemed appropriate by the IEP team. Connections offers three levels of services designed to support students as they complete a career and technical program. Supervision is provided by The Educational Service Center of Franklin County for staff and students participating in this program.

What We Offer/Performance Promises:

  • Promote and facilitate instruction in career and technical programs, with appropriate supports, for students
  • Provide highly skilled and licensed/certified staff including a teacher, paraprofessional and mental health services
  • Develop and implement IEPs designed to meet the unique need of students with emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Provide instruction in academic content areas
  • Provide quality supervision, evaluation and professional development for classroom staff
  • Work collaboratively with district personnel
